Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy uses therapeutic exercise to relieve pain and restore functional ability that may be affected by injury, occupation, or lifestyle factors. Vimfitness offers Physical Therapy through Sports and Physical Therapy Associates (SPTA). A SPTA physical therapist will conduct a health screening that includes posture and movement analysis, and an evaluation of problem areas.

Treatment may include:

• Assisted stretching and manual therapy
• Therapeutic exercise
• Therapeutic techniques such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
• Application of heat and ice
• Patient education
